scientists discover that romantic love triggers more brain activity than sex, that waist-to-hip ratio's of 0.7, big eyes and broad shoulders are physically most attractive on women, that symmetry is most attractive on both (symmetrical face=more sex)

i've seen tv shows on the first three subjects [including an english study of speed dating]..... why is this news now?

Also, one of my friends posted this on Valentine's Day (which, incidentally, could explain the plethora of stuff about lurve that's popping up for russiandolls)

The gist of it is that attraction is a really individual thing and if you lined up the men one woman had dated, it'd be hard to pinpoint what they have in common that she found attractive about them. Which is interesting in light of the three-second thing.

much as I'd like to take credit, I think we have the Greeks to thank for that.. it's alphabetical..

although, frankly, I'd like more control over them.. I lose count of the number of times I've wanted to put blah, blah, blah as tags..
