Last time Ironhide spoke to Bob, the sprite (an unbelievably weird concept for the Autobot- how do you get a piece of code that small to behave that much like a living machine, anyway?) had just come out of enforced downtime. Ironhide locked his storage sector into stasis shortly thereafter and shunted the information about him to a low-priority

Bob sucks in a sharp breath as he sees the figure in front of him.

"Ironhide? Is that... is that you?"

"Best I could do," the avatar says, flexing a few of its fingers. Granted, it's an avatar of his Cybertronian form, as he hasn't encountered any Earth vehicles yet- but the same general 'built like a rhino' impressions are still there. "It's me."

It's huge, and metal, and very alien-looking, and it's the first actual person Bob's seen since he got here.

Ironhide's avatar just might be getting a hug from a Guardian right now.
