One conversation down with Savannah and one more to go. He just wasn't entirely sure that he wanted to have it. Kon mused to himself while he had a cup of coffee. He could go up and talk to Wallace, but Wallace was right. Now that it was the morning and he was sober again, he wasn't sure he wanted to sleep with Wallace. But he wasn't sure he ( Read more... )

Wallace had slept in his own bed last night. A fondness for getting laid didn't mean he was low enough to sleep with one man while thinking about another; he and Alcuin may have had an agreement, but it still didn't sit right with Wallace's conscience. He'd jerked off and gone to sleep alone.

Now here he is, standing in the Compound's front hallway as he pulls on the new coat he'd procured from the clothes box only a few minutes before, staring at the reason for last night's sexual frustration.

Well, several months' sexual frustration, actually, but last night's especially.

Judging by the look on Kon's face, he's both sober and remembers at least some of what happened before Wallace had sent him on his way the night before. Wallace pauses, watching the younger man with a look of amused expectation.

"I see you finally put on a shirt."

I can always take it off if you prefer.

...maybe it's best if he doesn't say that. Instead, he shrugs a little. "Eventually I woke up and after I crawled out of the pile I fell asleep under, I decided it was too cold to do without one. Thanks for the jacket. It helped for the walk back." He'd been a lot colder on that walk than he'd been on the walk to Cassie and Cissie's.

"Do you...want it back? I've got it back at my place." An offer to talk if Wallace wants.

Wallace's eyebrows slowly arch toward his hairline, but he doesn't immediately answer. Being asked back to a guy's place usually only meant one thing, and after last night, he can't imagine it possibly meaning anything else.

"Sure," he agrees, looping his long scarf around his neck. "Lucky you, my schedule just happens to be clear today."

"It's not going to take that long," Kon points out. "It's not like I'm taking you all the way out to the treehouse. There are some days when I'm glad I moved." It's just so far away. Of course, there are days when he misses living with the gang. He's not really used to living by himself. He'd only done it a little while in Metropolis.

He opens the door for Wallace and waits for him to go through.
