...is apparently at least ok in this instance. I hadn't heard from my mom in a couple of weeks. I knew she'd been having computer problems so I wasn't worried -- I had emailed my aunt a couple of times to check in. I realized I hadn't heard back from her either. I figured, ok, they're both having computer issues and didn't think too much of it

Any idea what the computer issues are? It doesn't seem very productive to jump thru all those hoops if you're just setting yourself up for the same problem again down the line.

She can't get it to boot. I'm waiting to see what the tech says about it when he finally gets to look at it, just trying to plan ahead for whatever I might have to do.
