Rockman read through the letter a few times and it sounded good to him.

"Good, I don't want to get in trouble for being late."

He paused for a second, zoning out, then sighed. "Rock's lonely. I've kinda been taken a lot of his time..." Rockman didn't have anymore to say and let it hang there. Maybe Aile would know what to do.

She sighed as well. "Does he wanna find other people to hang out with, then, or would talking to me be alright for now?"

"He- you're not going to steal her from me Rock," Rockman said with a sad smile. They switched at that and Rock clung to Aile, just needing a hug for now.

Aile clung back. "Yeah, not a chance, but I'm here if you need me..."

"You're good for being his friend, he needed it....but-" And this was the part Rock felt real guilty for. "I want to get out and do stuff too..." He got time, but so far it was school, a few trips to the Nexus, and hanging out with Video. Video... He clung tighter.

"And I've been taking all of both your time up, huh? Um, I guess I could let up a little...?" She bit her lip and started petting him.

"I know you need Rockman. I don't want to take him away, even just a little." But he wanted to see people and do the stuff he used to, not get cooped up in his own head all day. Rock leaned into the petting, making happy sounds.

"Uh..." She thought about it for a moment, continuing to pet him. "Well, we have the link, so maybe we can find a compromise so you can still not be lonely?"

"'Kay. How much do you need to see Rockman to be okay? And the rest of the time you can talk to him through the link?"

"Um, still a lot. I really want..." She wanted to be with him as much as she could, but she did have to be fair to Rock. "Maybe... I'll just come with you while you do stuff and you two can trade from there?"
