It looks like there's a ton of new people out there lately. Does this city even have enough food for everyone? Sooner or later we're gonna run out of canned stuff. I hope the people in charge have thought that one out, that it doesn't look like anything's gonna come along and restock the shelves soon.

Oh. Well. I guess you tried, anyway. Got my sample in, but a fat lot good that does us now. I guess we're just gonna have to stay at the mercy of the ones in charge of this place, when it comes to the Virus.

The Professor? He's got black hair, ponytailed, and round glasses, realy bony, sorta walks with this stoopy shuffle. Sounds smart enough. Cleaned the needle out good.

Butterbeer? What's that? Is it that creamy stuff that tastes like melted candy? We had some of that. It said Schnapps on the bottle, I think. Found everything in a bar downtown, not alot was there behind the counter, but there were tons of bottles left in a back closet.

I still don't think Namine knows much other magic, its just that her drawings are, were, special. And she was really good with making new memories.

Not really. They didn't act any different than they did back when they were just Head Boy and Girl together at school. And Remus...I didn't really get a chance to speak to Remus after his marriage.

There was whiskey, some kind. It smelled nasty so I didn't try it.

That's fine, I guess. I don't even remember what I did, and I'd rather have more control than that and not a huge headache the morning after.

I think so! It was late and dark out, but I saw it's light, and it looked green. Have you ever eaten one? Are they easy to kill?

Hrph. He was a total stuck up jerk, worse than Riku, and called you a second-rate shadow remnant, and talked down to me like I was pitiful. What's his problem, anyway?

Yeah. If we didn't drink so much, we could have gotten down to the hospital and ambushed those people. Eh. There will be more people dying who need to come back I guess, sooner or later.

I haven't, but it's not rotting. It depends. They have some powerful magic, but they're slow, and these ones may be different.

He's worse than a stuck up jerk, and I hate him! He just thinks he's better than anyone because he was around first, but it doesn't count when he isn't even competent enough to do anything correctly. You and I are both way better than him!

Yeah.. We could always kill someone!

If they're slow, and they've only got this little knife according to Garcian Smith's reports, then you and I definitely have the advantage. Maybe together we can take one down, if we spot another so close. I don't know how something like that would taste, maybe like alligator, if it's a reptile.

(Yeah, I'm kinda beginning to hate him too. He got all uppity and superior when all I did was ask a simple question.)

...I don't know if we should kill anyone, especially not since the police station people are still on the lookout for you and your brother. But even if this virus is over, someone's bound to get killed doing something dumb. We'll just keep a close eye on the communicators for any word, and then time it right, getting down there. Others have taken barely a day to come back.

Yeah, I- I know. There's gotta be something we can hunt, though. Or else one day there won't be any more food. And...we need better proteins! I need to go back downtown and find more beans.

I'll test everything out first if we do find anything, you know, so there's no risk on you of knowing you'll get sick from it. Kadaj says we might be able to eat tonberries.
