Oh and an I just add that this;
"It’s hot and humid in a way that makes Mike want nothing more than for summer to end. The temperature should have decreased this close to autumn but the heat has remained at a persistent high. Summer had sunk its fingers into the city and wasn’t letting up." is one of my favourite sentences in literature history. I love the image of it and just the almost poetic way it reads. For some reason it really stuck out for me.

Oh, that was FANTASTIC! I love all the little details, and parts of it actually had me laughing out loud. “You thought he was a naked orphan?” nearly killed me, I swear!

Well, I was thinking of that exchange from Buffy that was something like:
"He even has that test to see if you're crazy that asks if you ever hear voices or if you ever wanted to be a florist."
"Oh! I used to want... Wait, florist means crazy, right? I never wanted to do that."

Because there is not much that does not relate back to Buffy in some way...
