Oh my woooooord, what a horrific twist! I can't even imagine how fucked up it would be to be literally haunted by your attacker and not even be able to kill yourself to escape it. D: I'm seriously worried about Nathan's sanity. And Simon! Here he thought he was doing what was necessary to keep his friend (plus all of Fagin's victims/future victims) safe while making it even worse for Nathan in the process. This detail in particular killed me:

There is a bottle of water by his bed, and when he reaches down and goes to crack the seal on the cap, he finds that it’s already been cracked for him so he doesn’t have to strain his hands. That’s when he realises that Barry must be home, because that’s the kind of attentive thing he’d do.

That part really brought home just how devastated normally careful, thoughtful Simon must feel about making such a gigantic mistake. In other words: well done. ♥

I cannot wait for more of this. I seriously check my mail twice a day for updates.

My heart just BREAKS for Nathan:(. Fucking hell, i can't even imagine being in that situation. How devastingly horrific is that? And poor Simon, how awful, he just wanted to avenge what happened to Nathan and get rid of the problem, only to accidently unleash this other form of horror. I'm really hoping that Fagin's ghost disappears soon, i really, really do. Poor Nathan:(. P.s. you're doing a brilliant job:)

Thank you very much. My heart breaks for Nathan too, though I'm just evil, since I like putting him through angst. I always like doing that to the ones who seem so impervious to it. I'm a sick, sick primate. :D
