The combination of Elizabeth's puppy love, so confusing to a 15 year old, and James being responsible and holding back what he's actually feeling is very well done. And very close to canon. He was quiet and responsible until it was too late and she always followed her heart and her emotions wherever they may lead. What am I saying, you've seen the movie too. :) Love the below part, may tape it on my wall or something. Okay, I'm not quite that bad.

I really like this! The lump of dirt Lizzy sent James was priceless. And, the fact that he kept it on a saucer was even better. But, like most, I giggled at James's indicision about how to end his letter. Can't wait for the next chapter. So hurry it up, will ya? :)
