[It's rather obvious, from her weak and wobbly tone, that Litchi has been crying. A lot. It took her up until now to be able to find the words for this, let alone keep her voice steady enough, but here it is...]
Anyone who knew Mr. Goroh... I... I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but... he...

It never got easier losing friends. Even knowing they'd come back. Even so, Thirteen fought back against a lot of the emotion flooding through his mind, trying to keep focused. Take everything one step at a time... and everything in its due course.
He finally gets around to answering the call. Honestly, for all his fighting back against this heavy burden, his voice will sound tired and somewhat strained.]
...Litchi. ...Do you want some company?

[She trails off, taking a deep, shuddering breath and trying to straighten out her thoughts. It's been a few days already and, even with the knowledge that he'll be back again, the pain hasn't lessened any. And breaking the news to his other friends...
Even though she's had the same job before, it's never gotten any easier.
Shaky sigh.] ...Some company... would be really nice.

[And with that, he is. It'll take him a bit to get to her house. He's not exactly rushing. The trip over is a walk, and using it, he's trying to clear his mind. He has no idea what happened in the battle, but... as a soldier he knew that entering the battlefield meant putting your life on the line. Goroh was a man who knew that too. He doubted Goroh would have any regrets about the path he chose.
Then again, death had a strange way of changing things. He knew that first hand.
Eventually, he'll make his way over to Litchi's. He'll steel himself for what might be the hardest part of getting the news, and give a light knock on the door.]

[He would say he's sorry, but what good would that do. It might just make her feel worse..]
If there's-- ...if there's anything I can do, please don't be afraid to ask. [Now he feels like complete shit because WHY wasn't he there? Damnit! If only mun didn't also play the captain of the OP Strawhaaaats!]

[She hesitates for a moment. Part of her really doesn't want to bother him for anything, but she also can't deny that she doesn't particularly want to be alone right now, either. She feels guilty saying anything -- her voice even cracks again once she speaks -- but she'll still answer honestly.]
I... think I could just use some company. I-if it's not a bad time...

[And he's actually there within a minute buuut. He decides to wait about another minute before knocking on her door. You know. To seem casual. Because arriving at someones house in two minutes is ttly casual.]]

Sniffle, weak smile. She knows she must look terrible, but she just doesn't have the energy to deal with it right now.]
Thank you so much for coming over...

[As terrible as Litchi feels right now, she still feels the need to reassure the girl. Goroh's death was no one's fault but Hazama's, after all... although she feels far too responsible as well.]

...Lemme know if there's anything I can do, all right?
