After the little thing with Lindsay and her friend at the panel, Tony had found it prudent to get some work done away from any women who might be mad at him. Especially when they were in groups.

So he was fiddling with some of the weapons systems and reviewing the data Jarvis supplied him with on the suit.

Tyler was avoiding CopCon like it was pink and covered in conversation hearts, so he'd missed the thing at the panel.

However, he still needed to let Tony know he had a double who was a dick. He wasn't sure why this was crucial information, but it was.

So this was him, descending into the lab. "Hey."

Tony glanced up from the readings once to nod at him. It was more than most people would get when he was working.

"Tyler."

"Tony," Tyler replied. He could tell he'd interrupted work, and he hesitated visibly where he stood, wondering if another time might be better.

"I could hang out and read a magazine or something if you're in the middle of a project."

He ... didn't really like how needy he sounded, there.

"I'm usually able to talk and work at the same time," Tony said dryly. "No matter what Pepper's opinion on that matter may be."

He only liked to talk about things that weren't his schedule for the day.
