hehehe- I'll happily take the blame for this! XD Just out of curiosity-- what tipped Jack off? Love the idea he's hacking Kaiba's calls lol. Might be swinging off on a slightly different interpretation in my story, but I really like the way the last few lines set up how Jack and Kaiba's first encounter might go. (That I swipe-- I figure the first time they meet in my story, the first thing Jack's going to ask Kaiba is-- after seeing how the Battle City semi final round between Bakura and Yami ended-- "Why the hell didn't you land the blimp and get him to a hospital? And you better think through your answer very carefully before you answer that.")

And glad that everyone is all right (but bummer about the basement.)

Well, I'm not entirely certain, but I suspect Jack has a long-standing policy of monitoring Dr. Bakura's whereabouts via cellular, and when the number of calls to the expedition's base line jumped dramatically during a 48 hour period.....

I'm not sure I'll have a Kaiba/Jack confrontation, myself, but by all means GO for it!

Progress on the basement, but for some reason we lost internet access Saturday afternoon. Husband is trying to track that down.
