I am back from the infirmary, a bit wary might I add. I do not agree on Madame Pomfrey’s decision of releasing me this early. Clearly she is incompetent because I have not been fully healed. Because of this I am now forced to wear these hideous glasses for Merlin knows how long. Mother sent me the best and most expensive glasses yesterday because I ( Read more... )

You just got out of the Hospital Wing and you're already starting up? Need I remind you of the traumatic scene you made me witness, Malfoy?

It wasn't that traumatic. At least you didn't go blind.

You're not even blind. You're wearing 'expensive' glasses, aren't you? And of course it was traumatic. Of course, for no one more than Hermione, but she enjoyed it at the time.

Not even that blind? Are you kidding me, Potter?

I can barely see two feet in front of me even with the glasses and you are saying you suffered a more trauma?

It is not my fault she decided to cause such a display. You should be whining to her about it all because I care very little.

Welcome back, Malfoy! Are you sure it was Bulstrode and Greengrass? Because Ron told me he thought it was Filch or Hagrid. Wouldn't it just be so funny if either of them turned out to fancy you?

No it would not, Brown.

Why would you honestly trust Weasely? It's not like he knows much about anything at all so you are taking quite a leap at believing whatever he says to be true.

Well, I think it would. I suppose it wouldn't be very funny for you, but think of the benefits. Filch would never give you detention. And Hagrid would never... erm...

...anyway. I should hope he was telling the truth. I gave him chocolate pudding for his help.

Then I suppose it is a good thing I could care less about what you think. And I wouldn't be surprised if Weasley simply lied to you knowing he would get any sort of food out of it. He is quite barbaric in that way.

Hah. I haven't given you a rose for anything. The chances Daphne did is about the same as Potter developping a sense of fashion over night. We've a month's detention and it's a fucking long essay. Let's see you come up with 4 feet of information on a can opener. Do you even know what it is?

Save your revenge for somebody with bushy hair and books permanently attached to her arms.

You make a good point, Millicent. On the fact that the chances of you and Daphne leaving such a nice gift are very rare. Perhaps it was Pansy? I shall have to ask her later.

A can opener? Yes, Millicent, I do know what that is actually. It's a device that open small metal containers for muggles. Pawson told me all about them when I inqured about a "microwave" one day after class.

Don't worry, darling, my revenge will not be taken out on you nor Daphne since she basically asked for forgiveness in tears. I know who did this to me and I know what it is I must do but that is neither here nor there.

You inquired about a muggle contraption? First you help Granger, now you're learning about muggles. What's next Draco? You're going to marry one and have two children, a dog and a blue house with a white picket fence?

I wanted to be prepared for the next essay. Because I, unlike you, care about my grades and Muggles Studies is unfortunately an important class for my future profession.

Millicent, do not insult me in such accusations. I don't even like dogs anyway.

You are such a spoiled git, Malfoy. You ought to shut up one day since bragging gets a bit old.

Yes, yes. I shall keep your empty threats in mind. If that day does come I shall send you a notice.

I can assure you Draco, it was not me who gave you the flower.

If I had known you would love a flower so much then I probably would have thought about it, but that's doubtful.

If it wasn't you or Millicent I am at a loss. It surely wasn't Pansy. I suspect she became a little upset when Granger became the one to take her place in hanging on my arm everywhere I went. So, for that, I suppose I can be thankful.

What do you mean "love a flower so much"? It's just a plant, Daphne.

Don't give me that Draco. You know what I mean.

No, I don't. If you are hinting that I am some how like Longbottom and have a disturbing view on plants then I may be forced to reject the apology you made to me a few days ago.
