This is the way a series finale ought to be: your jaw dropping at spectacularly good and cool things happening every time you turn around.

We can certainly see where all the FX budget they've been saving by having these introspective bottle-eps this season

Sadly I am very behind in watching BSG. I need to start Season 3 soon and catch up. Sounds like they have done the series justice from what you and others have told me. I regret missing out so far, but I will see it. I love BSG and how they have done it. It's sad that they have ended the series, however it's best to end it on a good note than to drag it out and drag it down.
