Mystique had just gone to visit Hank at the lab to make sure he was still doing all right; she felt guilty about the way things had ended with them even though it had been his fault.

She was walking back to her room when she caught sight of Liir and Trindle. She smiled, leaning against the wall a few feet away.

"Hi."

He gave her an uneven smile in reply.

"Just the woman I was hoping to meet. I don't suppose you'd mind having a little green addition to your day, at least for a couple of hours."

"I would never say no to her," she said honestly, brow arched, "but what's got you so anxious?"

He wasn't normally so eager to get rid of his daughter, and she hadn't seen that sort of smile on him before.

"I've just laid out my ideas to your brother and Mr. Lehnsherr," he said with a breath out, "as well as shared the entirity of my past with them in possibly the most painful way possible for all involved parties. Flying is looking very good right now. Clouds don't mind if you scream at them, after all."
