...It seems I arrived too late for the fight. It's a relief that this was resolved with no further deaths, but I am worried about all the people who got hurt. It probably wouldn't have been too much different if I were there, but...I'm sorry.

Yes, I wouldn't trust Sanosuke-kun or Toudou-kun to care for the little one. If only our Okita-kun was here, he would have made a good baby sitter.

Kondou-san...please, don't blame yourself. The enemy was stronger than any of us. I'm glad you didn't get hurt, and Heisuke probably is, too.
