OMG, I forgot about Walter! lol.

I was kinda bummed that Jack wasn't mentioned AT ALL. I mean, someone could have asked, "Did the General get out?" I'm thinking of some angsty/drama/hurt/comfort SJness. :P Maybe Sam was home off the Hammond, staying at Jack's DC place and hears about the incident. Jack is trapped or not trapped but she thinks he's trapped. I dunno. There was something about radiation because of a bomb, but I don't know if it affected the whole place or not. Hrm.... *thinky*

BAD Naz! :O lol The only way Walter can die is if he sacrifies himself so that Jack can get back to Sam. ♥ 'Cause ya know, Walter is SO a shipper!

Maybe they were both at the cabin? ;) *pets Sam and Jack*

He better not be hurt though. :( He needs to be alive and wrapped in Sam's arm where he belongs...!!!! But man that sure does set up for some nice angsty fic. :D (Maybe Sam thinks he's dead too but in reality he's not, that could have a lot of angst with it!) I've been on a HUGE continuum fic writing high. *rolls eyes* I think I have 3 Continuum based fics that I haven't posted? There's just SO much that could happen with that timeline.

My reaction to seeing that ep. was to think "Ready...Set...Write Angst Fic! May the happiest ending win!"

Yeah. They should'a mentioned Jack, if only to say "Someone call the General. He's in his cabin in Minnesota...How the hell should I know? Ask the President. I'm sure he's got him on the Oval Office speed dial!"

I think that the reason that they didn't is that the writers were too busy trying to prove to themselves that they were New Improved Stargate, and didn't really need those tired, old characters anymore now that they are launched.

You know, the kind of thinking that earned them a cancellation?
