pedialyte for the dog Oh, dear! Is Chance feeling okay? Or is this just a pre-emptive strike against the next time he performs a Sin of Commision and eats something he shouldn't? We used to buy these monstrously huge rawhide bones for our Newf, but he practically inhaled the things, and they had a nasty (predictable) digestive effect. We had to give that up, or consider buying stock in the corporation that makes Pedialyte. I once knew a dog that had a knack for finding carrion and garbage that was old enough to be archaeological and eating that.
My favorite dog poem? One written as a submission to the New York Times magazine's request for dog poetry. Here it is in its entirety:

LOL @ doggy poem. SO right. And no, Chance isn't sick or anything. He tends to be stubborn and not drink as much as he should, so especially in warm weather he can get easily dehydrated. I've been giving him a little each day to try and prevent that. :)
I totally hear you about the fidgetting thing. I didn't think of myself as particularly fidgetty, but when I go to meetings with other "grown-ups" I feel like I'm channelling Jack O'Neill, because they are all sitting so still, and I am drawing, drumming my fingers, playing with my pen, shifting positions, wiggling my feet...
Heh, yeah. Half the time I don't even know I'm doing it 'till someone yells at me, "Will you stop tapping/playing with that/rocking in your chair?!" XD
