I suspect that there are going to be a raft of people out there who answer "Mr. Darcy! *sigh!*". Of course they are forgetting how stiff and hard to warm-up he is at first meeting, and his severely limited sense of humor. They will have chosen...poorly!
Jack is a much better choice, because no matter what, he would be certain to be entertaining! Still, MacGyver might be a safer choice, because if you caught Jack in one of his more aggressive/angry moods, he has the potential to be quite threatening. MacGyver would just go all painfully earnest and morally upright on you.
lol. I'd just probably pester Jack till he took me through the stargate. lol. ;) And I'd take my dog if he was in a bad mood, 'cuz Jack likes dogs better than people. XD
Mr Darcy is the male love interest in Pride and Predjudice. He and Heathcliff (from Wuthering Heights), and a little extra from Mr. Rochester (Jane Eyre), together form the model for the hero of just about any romance paperback on the shelves, with the exception of those set in the American West, which also owe a great debt to Jimmy Stewart, John Wayne, and all the Saturday Matinee cowboys.
