Okay, wanna hear something terrifying? I'm older than the Billboard Hot 100. Only by four months, but still...

What seems pretty clear is that "Tequila" by The Champs was big, although "He's Got the Whole World in His Hands" in a version by Laurie London (Who is Laurie London???) was played more on radio stations that week.

*sighs* I'm so freaking ancient I'd better toddle off to bed!
