He isn't sure if he can't move or just doesn't want to. He doesn't think about it. Jack simply stares into the ocean, watching the waves lap against each other like they had always done. Tired legs hold for as long as they can, but they, just like everything else these days, give way. Jack drops to his knees and instantly his water soaked jeans

[ooc: I love the symbolism; comparing those that had died to the tomato that didn't. It's such a small thing to think back to, but Jack being able to make that comparison is so very fitting to him. I love this small look into those moments when he came out of the ocean. It's a nice look at him looking back, especially when at that point so much of his future is very unknown.]

[OOC: The tomato scene and the aftermath scene that this directly refers to are two moments that really hit me in the gut. When The Package premiered I wanted to write about the tomato scene, but I think that waiting for a juxtaposition worked out nicely. Thank you for the feedback! <3]
