Dante'd had a weird, screwed-up weekend and a stupid, screwed-up class. Which made him restless. Which meant he'd rummaged around the common room some, and he was lagging on his way back to his room.
Catching Alana's door at a probably-there-right-now crack? Calling it a relief would be a big word, but it wasn't a bad thing.
He rapped lightly on the doorframe. "I don't know if they have bingo on your planet, but it is the worst," he called, instead of a greeting.
"Is that the one with the cards that old ladies play?" Alana asked, crinkling her nose as she glanced up in greeting. "It looks boring. Did somebody make you play it?"
