God, this is agonising. But so bittersweet. Great. Are you gonna keep going? The sex is just so hot. The tension is brilliant. But it makes me want to cry for Jamia. And the boys too in a way. Great stuff.
Ooooh, I actually hadn't planned to, to be honest. It's a prompt fic for when I needed drabble ideas because of writers block on my chaptered stuff, but as you can see I have problem with keeping things to actual drabbles. Maybe at some point. I still have one or two prompts to do :P. Thank you so much, I know... I love Jamia though :( lol.
I like this, the metaphors thing and the moment/place they chose to finally follow what they felt gave it originality *nods* Like...it was maybe the worst moment and place, they could have some other time when their wives weren't around, but they just hadn't gathered enough guts until now. Guess they couldn't let the opportunity go wasted!
"Make sure you try out the oil paints for real, paint me something good with them."
Gerard laughs into Frank's hair, "I'm gonna paint you as a disgraced priest."
"Soon. I'll be that soon, I promise." Loved the ending! :D
Secondly; this is really well-written. I will admit to being a little wary at first - because I hate it when the wives get stick - but I should have known that you have enough skill to focus things more on F&G and their pining/jealousy. In terms of that, you captured the mood really well. So yeah, I liked this a lot. Especially the whole priest and oil-paint metaphor thing.
Thirdly; HOW DO YOU MANAGE TO WRITE SO MUCH SO QUICKLY SO AWESOMELY. Srsly, I can barely keep motivated with my writing for more than a day or two. ;_________;
Thank you! Felt like something with a huge header instead of little orange skulls, lol.
I get that. I just... idk. Don't really have it in me to write them as these horrible women that some people do. I just tried to do 'the cheating thing' in the most respectful way I could, all things considered. So I'm glad you didn't hate it :)
CAN YOU SEE MY GRIN? =D. I don't know, lol, I really don't. And I'm very flattered that you called it awesome. Sometimes I just get days of intense writing...then nothing for a week :P.
I liked this!!! The metaphors were good. Gerard is Frank's non believer and Frank is Gerard's oil paints!!! XDDDD that's awesome. The women seem really annoying, I hope they break up with them and run away into the sunset while holding hands!
