This is being passed around the office. Being that math is not my strong point, I'm not sure how it works, but it does.

First of all pick the number of times a week that you would like to have dinner out. Try for more than one, but less than ten.

Multiply this number by 2, just to be bold!

      Add 5.

Hi, I found you through jait.

This is how that formula works ("n" is the number you pick):

50(2n+5) = 100n + 250

1753 + 250 = 2003

2003 - "four digit year that you were born" = your age.

100n = your number shifted over two places to the left.

I knew someone around here would be inclined to figuring out the puzzle. Now that you've put it in such terms it indeed does make sense. Thanks.

Yeh, mine thinks I'm younger by a year too. So what does this say about age and eating out?

That you should eat out less if you want to be younger? That you should eat out as much as you will next year? That you should eat out more if you wish that the year was over?

Hello, I'm Michael. I was randomly viewing LJ's and I came upon yours. I don't mean to intrude. This was a rather clever post. Even if it was made so long ago. Have a wonderful evening.

Michael
