[Tenma certainly wasn't expecting to be accosted at the breakfast table this morning. He swallows a little bit---this is an unfamiliar voice that's addressing him, after all.]

[It's here that he looks up at one of the walls, taking note of one of the family photographs. The image has changed. There's a young girl in the photographs with them, now. He has a sinking suspicion about who his attacker is.]

...did you only wake up here this morning?

[She doesn't move, but her eyes do occasionally dart from Tenma to the doors nearby, looking for anyone else who might walk in, or the easy way out.]

Yeah. And I can't even begin to tell you why that's not right. There is a whole lot wrong here. Beginning with me being kidnapped.

[As fast as Nina can grab her, Barton snaps her arm from her grasp, and whirls around in a defensive pose. Her emotions are running high due to getting them all back at once after a long time, so rational thought isn't coming as easily.]

[Barton is a bully, but even she doesn't usually hit girls for stupid reasons. She is trying to calm down, and it's obvious she's trying to cover up being scared of this whole crazy situation.]

[Asks a 8 1/2 foot tall giant dressed in a waiter's uniform who carries himself like a stone-cold killer.]

[Barton turns to say something nasty to whoever tried to stop her, but instead her eyes go wide and she stumbles a few steps back. She recognizes someone who carries themselves in such a way - this girl may be tiny, but she's built solid, and she carries herself like a fighter. This is obvious since she takes a defensive pose now.]

[You'll have to forgive her, Garvi. She's a bit overwhelmed by the man who's over 3 feet taller than her loom down at her.]

[She takes a few steps back. She may be short, but she's a tough-looking girl, solid. Barton narrows her eyes at him.]

I... You're not one of them. One of the drones.

[she rubs her temples and squeezes her eyes shut for just a moment. But that doesn't stop the suspicious glares.]

[Barton turns her head, and the drone girl backs off and leaves.]

But she... How do they..!

[This place was overwhelming Barton for a lot of reasons right now. She still looked like she wanted to punch something, so she opts for a nearby telephone pole. Oh right, that hurts a lot more than it should. She shakes her hand, wincing only a bit.]

( intrigued, damian walks over. )

They're drones. They're not entirely human. Which doesn't stop the entire stupid town from getting up in arms if you try and hurt them.
