[a): Barton is sitting out in her yard today on Stone Street, enjoying the weather and putting together an Erector set. The drone workers at the department store kept trying to tell her it was a toy for boys, so she ended up stealing it when they weren't looking

[ Firo can only stomach so much of his dreary Mayfield job at a time, so today he's decided to take the day off. While wandering through the streets he spots Barton hard at work.

He stops to say high, but finds himself just staring in amazement for a few moments. Even though she mentioned having telekinesis, seeing it in action is still surprising. ]

...Wow.

[Barton looks up, blinking, and the parts freeze in place.

Oh, it's just Firo.]

Oh, hey.

[ He manages to break his eyes away from the floating pieces and grins at her. ]

Hey. That's really amazin'.

[nosoul_nomind]

[She shrugs a little.] Just practicin', really. Figured this would be easy.

[justdumbluck]

[ He cautiously reaches out as if to touch one of the pieces, but quickly brings his hand back. He doesn't want to mess her project up. ]

Is it? Are you still gettin' those headaches?

[She smirks a little, and floats a piece up in front of him.]

Naw, small stuff's easy, so I'm good for now.

Really? That's great! What about medium-sized stuff?

[ Now he can't resist poking it and seeing it stays in the air. ]

[It does. And it pokes him back now.]

Stickin' with small for now. I'll worry 'bout medium-sized later.

[ That startles him and he jerks away from it. Laughing in embarrassment, he turns back to Barton. ]

That sounds like a good idea.

[ He gives an impressed look at what she's put together of the kit. ]

And you did all that with no hands?

Yeah, so far. Been takin' awhile though. I feel like I coulda had two built by now, for what it's worth.

It looks hard even buildin' it normally.

[ But maybe that's just him being not so good with stuff like this. ]

But it's worth goin' slow, right? Didn't you say that practicin' this keeps away the headaches?

Yeah. Gotta find... the middle ground, I guess? But mostly it happens if I overdo it.

How much is overdoin' it?

[ He doesn't know anything about telekinesis, but he wonders if finishing the whole set with her mind would be a little much. ]

Big things, things that weigh a lot. Or just doin' it for too long.

You sure puttin' that whole thing together isn't gonna be too much?

[ Firo's all for pushing onself, but that's in pursuits like fighting. Mental activities- especially something that could mess with your brain- seem like a different story. ]
