Excellent choice with the Conan movie. The new one was one of the worst things I've watched in quite some time.

Thansk! Omg, wasn't the new one awful? I was at a loss for words when I saw it. I just... you'd think that a movie from 2011 would be better than one from 1982. Then again, the 80s are known for their epic fantasy movies.

Ohh, I'm sorry to hear that Chris is so stressed lately! A taco dinner sounds delish, though. A nice treat!

I think those people DO exist, but I don't know any of them. I've never expected crap like that for Vday, but then again, I'm terribly spoiled all year! :D

Lol, those people exist in myth. If I were to meat one I'd probably treat them the same as I'd treat a unicorn: utter disbelief at what I'm seeing.

D'awww, you're so spoiled that every day is Valentine's Day!

The last romantic V-Day date I had was in 2003 with my boyfriend at the time. We both were very broke, but he made me dinner at his mother's place, got the fireplace working and we danced to slow music after dinner. It was so sweet and I'll always remember it.

My subsequent 2 relationships after that weren't anything to celebrate; I mean they were effing up before V-Day so I didn't expect anything from them on the day.

But my mom likes to celebrate it by giving us cards and little gifts. I got another charm for my Pandora bracelet, and I went to see Safe House, which was awesome!!

That sounds like such a nice date! It took more creativity for him to put that together, and it's more memorable than anything from a store.

That's sweet your mom gives you cards for Vday! That's what I like about the day, is that it's a great chance to let people know you care.
