Revolving door etiquette

Popular culture paints them as quaint, or cute, or even fun! Buddy loved them.

I, however, can’t seem to figure them out. Our building has a revolving front door, BUT, it also offers two “regular” doors to each side, and I can bet you that 90+% of the people coming in or out use the normal doors ( Read more... )

I suspect that there are no revolving doors within 5 miles of Poodletopia. Another thing to love about the new place in the country.

Traffic circle etiquette applies. Do you have traffic circles at all in the pnw?
I am not crazy about them. But it's about patience and flow, waiting for you moment, getting in and in flow as quickly and safely as possible. Don't run over old ladies.
And those doors on the sides should not be locked. Nope.

I'm making the huge assumption that pretty much EVERY building in NY has these, and that's where you are. They're fairly rare in Portland, actually.

I had someone fart in the revolving door right before I got in and I was behind an old man trying to push him along to get the f out of that. Hell, I tell you. I don't like sharing the little stalls with people so I will wait until they get out and go in the next one thanks to Farty McGee
