I'd attach a few of those crystals with LEDs to my underpants. Practical application? None. They would be magnificent to behold, however, and likely establish a firm belief in God in any who saw them.

perhaps it would be practical if fixed to the rear of your underwear - like the guide-lights used by aircraft so they land 'at the right terminal'.
