I'm sure all my readers are familiar with the various arguments of intelligent design - priests masquerading as a well-read, learned biologists jumping around saying we're all to complicated and intricately produced that we mustn't have evolved by chance, but at the will of some "intelligent" designer. I'd attach a few of those crystals with LEDs to my underpants. Practical application? None. They would be magnificent to behold, however, and likely establish a firm belief in God in any who saw them.

perhaps it would be practical if fixed to the rear of your underwear - like the guide-lights used by aircraft so they land 'at the right terminal'.
