My week's pull this week was rather light but one issue stood out. Invincible #60. If you've been reading you know a little of what's going on. Well...
(Hey, the title says spoilers.) For an issue that couldn't give anyone much page space, I felt they gave him a worthy and heroic death. I wonder how Monster Girl got caught in girl form.
I haven't read anything with The Pitt in it since a Hulk crossover years ago, but hell he fish hooked and eye-gouged a Viltrumite to death - pretty badass.
Too bad the Flaxan-Armor Invincible died. That was a good look (and totally sounds like an action figure). Though if Donald and Brit managed to kill him I guess he wasn't that strong. Mustache Mark didn't make it out alive either...
What's up with Prisoner Mark? He's terribly scared, so you think those're black goggles or Jordie LaForge eyes?
Levy's plan kinda sucked, I guess - though it was a fun read no doubt. He promised the Marks and the creepy surgeons things he couldn't come through on.

That'd be...well, kinda disapointing. But, then again, I use Super Robot Wars as one of my Standards for Crossovers.

Invincible is moving away from the book that I liked when I first started reading it. It's still decent, but it doesn't do what it used to do.
