Steve Rogers: Super Soldier #2
Shadowland: Blood On the Street #1
Thor: The Mighty Avenger #3
Booster Gold #35
Justice League: Generation Lost #7
Green Lantern: Emerald Warriors #1
Batgirl #13
Zatanna #4

I'm getting bored with Zatanna. Everything else was good!

Also pulled an X-Men Visionaries: Chris Claremont collection off the discount rack.

Only Irredeemable Iron Man fir me.

I cancelled Old Republic because it was atrocious, but ordered SHIELD director cut for next week.

Unwritten, Vol.2
Ultimates 2 (softcover ultimate edition; had the hardcover but sold it to get this instead since it takes up less room)

Doesn't count as current, but I'm only up to issue three of Heralds, so is it okay if I mention that?

Mostly it's making me scratch my head a lot, but I can't tell whether it's the authors' fault or mine...

Heralds is Immonen, right? She seems to have a problem with the readers not quite knowing what is going on, which suited Hellcat, but...

I think the problem may be that while her writing is striving to be enigmatic, the art itself isn't. Either the writing should be a little more prone to old-style exposition and mood-setting, or the art should be more noirish and shadowy-- maybe even a little murky.

[shrug] I'm not sure. I'm also not saying that it's terrible or anything. But I can't escape the nagging feeling that everyone else who reads the story is getting more out of it than I'm managing to get. :/

On a more shallow and grumpy old-person's note: I still think that Monica Rambeau's best look was her original one.
