My life has recently been made richer thanks to WTF Is This: Supernatural Edition. While I don't believe it's right to point and laugh at someone's fannish contributions, sometime those contributions are so bizarre, so offensive, and so downright awful that they occupy a special hell. All the stuff on that blog is why I will never attend a con with actual celebrities. I'm too mortified by the .0001% percent of us who are scary batshit crazy. [well, to clarify, I can overlook the bad art stuff...we're not all artistes after all...but art done in bad taste, oi]

I have definitely tried to hide in my chair during Q&A at cons with celebrities (where 'celebrities' usually means 'US voice actors'). Get off my team, you're making us look even weirder.

Oh, man, I don't know what everyone else is on about, that picture is GLORIOUS. I made an undignified squeaking noise (it's okay, the coffeehouse is used to me).

While I try not to mock in public, I will admit to sending fannish things to friends and going "What even is this?" Or just recapping the plots of the very worst fics I read at sisterofdream.
