Am sick. Send pie! And Valentine's Day cards.

Feb 04, 2008 22:40

Uck, I think I caught a bug or something, because I am one sick Nos tonight. I couldn't even drag myself to yoga, which is the stuff of epic tragedy. No extra-bendiness for me! I sat at home and ate a veggie sandwich and watched The West Wing with my cat ("Women of Qumar" = weak, right? It's not just me? Sorkin doesn't do feminism well at all). I' ( Read more... )

Bwah! Best Do Not Disturb sign EVER! Heeeeeee!

Feel better, Nos!!! If you have the fever more than two days, go to the doctor, okay?

I get a racing heartbeat sometimes with a sinus infection or strep. Not as common with viruses, but it's the immune system working. It's usually not actually "irregular," just feels that way. But if you're at all concerned, why not get checked out?

{{{hugs}}} Hope you're super-healthy, very soon!

I know! I love that DND sign! Their happy little faces!

And thanks for mentioning you also have the racing-heartbeat issue. I still don't have a family doctor, so I never get anything checked out unless it's absolutely necessary. Like, ER or walk-in clinic necessary. I should probably rectify that situation.

Thanks for the virtual get-well pie! Once my student shows up I'm heading home for a good soak in a hot tub, and then I'm going to read your "Makeup" story (which is excellent comfort reading, yes indeed). I hope your writing is going well!

Aw, how sweet. Thank you! FYI, I listened to "Edge of Snow" again the other day, and the recording was exactly that for me. So we're even. :)

I hope your writing is going well!

Ah, thanks, and I owe you an email. Today sometime, promise.

But the writing's not going at the moment. *cries* Art school is going! I survived Week One. Hellish. I celebrated by scribbling Ray in charcoal. (Will share very soon.) Am right now working on Week Two. I am studying exactly what I wanted to learn, though (the effects of light and shadow on objects, smarty pants, NOT what you're thinking--hah!) so that is good.

I wrote very little more, though you haven't seen all of it, yet. Thank you, and a very tiny Stetson (you know what I'm referring to) off to you. :)

Hugs!!

I've often bemoaned the lack of courses that revolve around realistic rendering of genitalia. Particularly male genitalia. Particularly one male's genitals. C'mon, art school! Don't let JS down! :-)

I'll see your very tiny Stetson and raise you a tiny poncho! I'm glad the art classes are going well, and that you've done a teensy bit of writing. I just had a big breakthrough tonight on a piece, too. I hope inspiration strikes you soon!

that DND sign.. the smiley faces are what really kills me.. thanks for sharing the fab! ♥

hey, that "animal magnetism" part of your "name".. are you by any chance in the M7 fandom?

Heh, yes, the smiley faces ROCK! Like, wow, I really hope the "real" Fraser and Ray look that happy when they're having anal sex :-)

(And no, that lovely "animal magnetism" title was bestowed upon me by catwalksalone. What's the M7 reference?)

tee hee! the best part is that they'd have the same smiley faces if they were just innocently having a massage session.. except, what are the odds of *that*? :B

ohh, don't worry about that reference, it's just that i've come across several of them in the Magnificent Seven fandom, and sometimes in its even funnier incarnation: "animal maggotism"

Hmmm, based on how I feel today, perhaps "animal maggotism" would be more appropriate... :-)

It IS turning out really well, isn't it? Isis did an awesome job, and I've had so much fun reading all of the cards. Man, people in this fandom are creative. Yowza.

Thanks, SD!

That DND sign is amazing. It's awesome enough on its own, but it's the hat and experimental hair that make it ART. *giggles hysterically*

Feel better sooooon!
