Raaaaaaaaaaaaay. I should've known fic based off of a foriegn film was going to be all bleak and sad but oh. He really needs to not die. And also to learn English. *cuddles him*

There is totally a happy ending. With lots of sex and BOYFRIENDS and maybe a sled off into the Arctic sunrise. I promise.

Actually, the foriegn film is really upbeat and chipper and it has a very happy ending. The *American* remake of the German film is the one that's the downer. Oddly.

He really needs to not die. And also to learn English. *cuddles him*

It's okay - Ray is fine! He ends up in a hospital and Fraser is there and he learns English and they become BOYFRIENDS! Only...this bad part had to happen first. To, y'know, underscore the fragility of life and such. *flails*

But if you want to wait until this whole story goes up and read it in one shot, I'd understand. Since your lingering uncertainty over Ray's fate would only last for the click-space of a mouse, rather than days or (eep) weeks.

So there's that. But Ray is FINE. I assure you!

Oh, I'm all for underscoring the fragility of life, that's good! That makes the story, y'know, have depth and resonance. All very, very good things which I look forward to reading. Yay!!
