Um, I've had Suspicious River sitting on my hardrive for a while and I decided to watch it tonight while I packed and made the final preparations for my trip to Calgary. I'm not sure what I expected but I was in no way prepared. The movie was deeply, deeply troubling. The performances were great, but...Jesus. I am traumatized. It reminded me more

Oh man. I hear ya. I picked that flick up for Michael Shanks and didn't even remember that CKR was in it until you mentioned (this was before I'd seen DS), and I had to fast forward through most of it because, yeah, yeurgh. *shudder* I actually ended up giving the film away because I didn't want it in my house anymore.
