I had a pretty terrible week at work, capped by a perfectly awful day today (lots and lots of people complaining to me about things I couldn't fix, and lots of stupid glitchy technical problems, one of which needed to be redone seven times--in about a 25 step process each time!--before I finally fixed it), but my day is ending 1000 times better ( Read more... )

That always sucks: You send most of your waking hours in one place and that place happens to suck? Sucky. But I hope things look up soon. Hang in there.

Well, I did finish a major project, so things will probably lighten up a bit fairly soon, but thanks for the encouraging words.

i've bookmarked that wip. it's not my fandom, but it sounds intriguing. lately i can't find anything worth reading! (i'm in-between fandoms, actually. it's a lonely place. *g*)

Well, it's an RPS slave AU, so it's pretty much like original fiction cast with familiar faces. And I have to say, as a connoisseur of slave fic, it's pretty amazing; the worldbuilding is terrific and she really does a great job dealing with the political and personal consequences of a society where slavery is legal, but of course I'm primarily into it for the Jeff/Jensen relationship.

It's pretty epically long right now--65 parts or something like that? with I think at least 10 more before it is done--but it's definitely worth it.
