Huh. I don't know that I've ever hated the kids' names. There was one I read last week where they had weird names, but they did joke about it in the story.

Well, I don't mind weird names if they seem to make plot or character sense, but I guess I'm just picky about OC names in general.

See..it's not the names that get me. It's the uebersmart obnoxiously smarmy and precocious brats.

SGA's notorious...6 year old solving the problems of the universe, no problem; 3 year old correcting multiple PhDs in the field, regularly. Hits head repeatedly!!!

Oh, yeah, I've read a couple SGA fics like that. I can see how repeated examples would drive a person batty.
