There are many ways that people show love,
I think that someone who donates their entire day to take you to the State Fair, and half carries you back to the parking lot because your knee doesn't work, puts a whole new meaning to love.
How do you recognize love from other people?

Hahaha, THIS. In my professional life.

In my personal life? Unwavering enthusiasm for every dumb-ass thing I am interested in, a no-offense-given-no-offense-taken approach to solid, opinionated advice (because yeah, I may not listen to your truth, but I like to hear what you have to say anyhow, and sometimes argue with it, but not get too bent out of shape about it), a willingness to listen, a patient teacher (OH MAN DO I STRUGGLE WITH PATIENCE), an ability to pick conversations up nearly exactly where you left them years ago.

Also? I AM VERY HAPPY TO SEE YOU, NORWAYGRANNY, SHOW UP IN MY FRIENDS FEED AGAIN. KEEP DOING THAT!

Who hauled you and your knee?

I recognize love from my son and hubby when I am having a difficult day, and they are patient with me. Mike sends me jokes to cheer me up.
