My current cell phone sucks. It takes forever for text messages and voice mails to arrive, then the phone doesn't indicate that I have anything waiting.

So if I don't get back to you, don't be insulted. It's not intentional, I promise!

Dammit, if only I could use my three-year old European mobile over here. It's simple and it works!!!

I wonder if it's a Cape thing -- I had the same problem at my house. People would call and the phoone wouldn't ring...and then I'd get the voice mail two hours (or even a day!) later. What service do you have?

Verizon. We have a family plan for the four of us, so it's unlikely (read: probability equals epsilon) that Mama & Papa will agree to switch us to another provider.
