we host thanksgiving here every year and due to rotation for 'in laws' some years we have maybe 8 to 10 folks other years 15-20,not including various dogs and cats.( we encourage bringing of pets) But anyway it usually ends up a 4 day feast, so I understand about the accommedations part, and I can so relate to your account lol.
