I have not been home at 3:25 pm in weeks.  I'm only home now because I'm going to be at school every day for the next eleven, and probably every day for the next three weeks.  Weekend?  What's that?  I'll sleep when I'm dead.  And....

I get three weeks' holiday at Christmas, thank goodness! I haven't had three weeks off since... high school.

*reconsiders* At least, if I survive until Christmas, I'll get three weeks' holiday.

The WEATHER OFFICE, you are SO CANADIAN, you! And where have you BEEN? My god, that school thing just sucks hard, doesn't it? Poor you.

Oh, I know--I try to get away from the weather thing, and I can't. At 7:45 this morning, a friend walked into our classroom and, bypassing any sort of hello, pointed at another friend and said, "We'll make a snowman out of you tomorrow." None of us had had coffee yet, and were dead tired, as per usual, but we all knew that there's supposed to be flurries tomorrow.

Today? We saw BLUE SKY!!! And I was actually outside during daylight hours to enjoy it, instead of being in school for thirteen hours a day! (But we're still under a boil-water advisory due to torrential downpours, which has lasted like eight days so far.)
