Callie's happiness at Barbara calling her daughter, Arizona's emotions at her mothers heart felt gift of a slice of her child hood that she can share with and pass down to her family, had me tearing up. But what broke the dam and had me choked on emotions was how you wrote Calliope's reaction to the news that a beautiful and desperately wanted ball of cells had settled into it's new home.
Which leads me to my next point, you best not pull a Tv Grey's and kill off baby Ari or I will find you and I will shake my head at you in utter disappointment!! consider yourself warned x

Thank you so, so much for this lovely comment! I'm so happy to hear this chapter gave you the feels. My mission is complete! Hearing from readers like you makes it all worth it...it would be so much easier to just let this story finish out in my head, but for you, I'll keep working at getting it down in words. :)
(and don't worry -- there will be drama to come, but that's one thing I couldn't do to them again.)

Sofia is just adorable. I love little kids at Christmas! She's lucky; we were NOT allowed to wake our folks up until at least 6:30! LOL. I love those little signs of what loving parents Calzona are. They don't sweat the small stuff.
The part with the books TOTALLY got me. I loved that. How wonderful that Barbara kept those childhood treasures for Arizona to share with her daughter. What an all round wonderful Christmas morning scene. I love fluffy stuff like that.
So excited to see where you take this story next; the pregnancy reveal was perfect.
Please keep going. I love your writing. I never want this story to end!

I had a lot of fun writing Sofia in this one, not gonna lie. I love her, and it's impossible NOT to make her adorable. And I've been trying to keep the parenting stuff sounding natural throughout this story, and the dialogue, so I'm glad that's coming across too.
At one point I almost thought it was too much fluff, but then I thought...nah, how can I resist! There will be drama later to keep things interesting.
Thanks again for reading!
