[An abrupt transmission bumps onto the display of the communicators from the temple, jumping with static as the image settles on the buildings steps. There is a body there. It can not be mistaken for anything else, so ordinary it is under the grandeur of the temple. Face down against the stone the mess of grey clothes and purple hair doesn't move.

[A voice. That's not something he's heard in a while. His mind interprets it as a dream but the disturbance is enough to wake his body to the cold stone steps beneath his cheek. His single eye squeezes tighter shut and he lets out a tired groan of protest before moving somewhat, his fingers twitching back to life.]

You know, it might not even be the fae you gotta worry about. Like you could have gotten mugged and wouldn't have even known it. Just some creeper stalkin around waiting to prey on newbies too stupid to keep their defenses up.

[Another grown comes out of the body as his hands move to push himself up from the steps. All he can hear is some idiot voice talking, but the words don't make sense. One word jumps out though, fae. Fae, a word he associates with only one place. Suddenly he knows where he is, and when he sits up to face the communicator his suspicious are confirmed instantly.

He grabs the device and looks it over, his singe eye focusing on the screen as he tries to remember how it works, luckily it's already on.]

Who is this? [His voice is abrupt and steady, despite the drawl of tiredness laced in]

[ Madotsuki has only woken up just now, having slept throughout the entire deal with Sindragosa so she doesn't even really realise yet what is going on with the village. It's not like she comes outside a whole lot.

So instead she is checking the communicator, only to find someone else sleeping on it. (Or at least, she thinks it's sleeping.) ]

... Good morning.. [ The girl blinks a few times, a blank expression on her face. ]

[After getting up, dusting himself off and speaking briefly to another resident, one Dave Strider, North turns his attention to the video and his expression softens instantly. Little girls need less glare-ridden faces.]

[ She blinks curiously - she probably doesn't even understand the question 'what's up'.. What is up? ]

I am awake. [He rubs his single eye, not sure if he was asleep before or not. Was he dreaming? It's all sort of hazy] What's your name?

[Her voice is higher than usual, tired and ragged, too, but the disbelief is crystal clear.]

Aureln? [North sees her on the video and a flash of relief shines in his eye. Sure enough that's the same Aureln. He's happy to see her, selfishly so considering that she hasn't managed to leave Demeleier as others have.] Yeah, it's me. I'm back.

[Now he can ask the question that's been on his mind since he opened his eyes] How long have I been gone?

[Oh....this....is good news, actually. She's lost her Duib, and she's lost her cool over the recent battle with Sindragosa. So finding a sleeping North is nice. She assumes he's sleeping, anyway.]

[She starts to jog over to the temple, hoping to cuddle him in person. I mean meet.]

[North looks into the camera and can't help but smile. True he's back in Demeleier, and that's bad, but... It's Thereth!
