New Rule - Regarding cross-posting and fills

New rule 1: Cross posting of your own prompt is allowed, but if you are not the original prompter of a prompt in this or another meme do not cross-post. If you do, the original OP may not know their prompt has already been filled in another meme. Get permission from the OP and provide a link, to where the cross post is located otherwise the ( Read more... )

Thank you. If I wanted my prompts on avengerkink I would leave them there myself.

I'm glad to see these new rules. I agree with the anon above - people would post their prompts on different kinkmeme's if they wanted them there. I only wandered into avengerkink because it came up on my lj homepage, and I happened across two of my prompts. I realize that once they're on the internet they're basically free-game and there's nothing stopping cross-posting, so I'm not mad (surprised and a little annoyed, yes). I probably would have happily given permission for them to do that if they'd asked and left a link so I could check for fills.

As the OP I'd just like to know where my prompts are and be able to read any fills - that's why I posted them in the first place. So, thanks for the rule change and I hope people follow them. :)

I fully support this rule, but I cannot help but ask, out of curiosity: How exactly do you plan on enforcing it when people post as anons? It's not like you can actually prove who left what prompt.

Sorry,I wasn't sure where to put this but could you maybe include "Asgard" to your names list on each prompt? Lots of people seem to be spelling it Asguard.

I'm not really sure where to add it; we only have character names listed, not place names. We also don't really have any rules about spelling here, so I'm not sure why we'd need to, unless there's some other reason you wanted it added?
