Loki shifts his shape, hair shortening, complexion darkening, features changing to those he wore back in 45 B.C. He wears something similar, golden colored silk and hanging earrings.
He holds herself with confidence, like the queen he had been.
He stumbles into him, smiling when he helps him, flirting back when he says something. Their eyes meet and he sees the chocolate eyes darken just like they had when they first met.
There is no recognition.
Tony Stark excuses himself and heads over to Pepper Potts who is talking to Steve Rogers.
Loki remains standing there, wondering why his heart is pained.

Lovely and understated. I really liked how Loki is just plain using these powerful men and can't admit to himself that he might have actually cared. ♥

I thought Loki fitted in with the depiction of Cleopatra by Plutarch and Suetonius!! This is what I came up with! ^_^

My heart broke for Loki's inability to admit he loved Marc Antony, yet he pines for him like a lovesick fool.
