So Coulson is very efficient, it is only logical that a lot af Agency's try to make him work for them. (Crossover with what ever you want i.e. Hellboy, Warehouse 13... )
The good reason not to leave S.H.I.E.L.D should preferably Hawkeye :)

3.Coulson was in the middle of a presentation when a small dagger whizzed through the air and dug into the wall right next to Coulson's head. Not only did he not flinch, the dagger did not interrupt his presentation. He only acknowledged the knife when the entire meeting was finished and he pulled it out of the wall

A/N:I totally just noticed the prompt called for mostly GEN and I think I pretty much not done that. I'm sorry and I hope you guys still like it. Side note, this one's a job offer from Fringe, my favorite TV show.

Coulson woke up to Clint shoving the agent's phone at him while trying to hide under a pillow. With a groggy groan, he recognized the number and answered it.

"Broyles, do you have any idea what time it is?"

"Yeah, it's four thirty in the morning," Philip Broyles laughed.

"I forgot you loved bothering people at the worst times," laughed Coulson. "What do you want?"

"Is that anyway to talk to a friend from school?" asked Broyles.

"Only friends who call knowing it's this early."

"Tell him good friends will call back later," muttered Clint just loud enough that Broyles heard him.

"Coulson, is that your boy toy I heard about? Is it true that he works for you?"

Coulson groaned and that was enough of an answer for Broyles, who burst into laughter.

"Broyles what do you want?"

Coulson sighed and sat down at his desk. It was almost nine AM and he was expecting a call, but considering the group he was expecting to hear from he had no idea if it would actually be a telephone call. No matter what form of communication it was, Coulson was fairly sure it would not be a pleasant experience.

He jumped when he heard the phone ring and picked it up.

"Hello?"

"Hello, is this Agent Coulson?" asked the man on the other end of the line. For a moment, Coulson was confused. The voice sounded like Doctor Douglas Fargo, but the head of GD liked to show off his fancy technology not rely on things like telephones.

"Yes, Doctor Fargo, this is Agent Coulson."

"Oh, oh good."

"What can I do for you?" asked Coulson.

"Um, would you like a job?"

"Excuse me?" The request was unexpected to say the least. Ever since Tony Stark won the S.H.I.E.L.D.'s largest contract, GD had been hostile towards any S.H.I.E.L.D. employee.

"We could use someone like you-""I'm sorry," Coulson interrupted. He had to end this before it got any

It's marvels fictional agency that deals with extraterrestrial threats to the earth, SHIELD deals with more superhuman threats while SWORD deals with the aliens.
