So usually the citizans of Asgard are as free with their casual touch and affection as they are with food and drink and sport, but no one touches Loki if it can at all be avoided. (i dunno, maybe they subconciously recognize that he is something other?).

Loki, as desperate for affection as any other person, turns to his magic. He makes clones of everyone he loves and uses the clones to give him everything he's ever wanted from them; a hug, a kiss, a "well done!", cuddles, everything he's always been denied. (please no sexing of the clones).

Would prefer it to eventually be brought into the light what he's been doing, and the reactions of those he's cloned.

Geh! This is so beautiful. Heartbreaking, but beautiful.

Poor lonely Loki. I like all the psychological nuances you included, with Loki wondering if there were something wrong with him, etc., and that was a wonderful use of repetition tying together the beginning and the end. I do wish someone had noticed how lonely he was though, poor thing. T__T

Yet Thor's body was stiff, his posture awkward, and the moment Loki allowed it he softly pushed Loki back.

It's so chilly and I want to hit Thor. Then I'll pull Loki into a hug and never let go!!

This is just great! The sadness spills everywhere. And the last repeating paragraphs make my nose sour.

This was really well done. I loved the language, and the use of repetition. It has a hollow, hopeless sort of feel which is really just lovely.

I keep rereading this because it's so amazing and relatable. How can something so simple and short mess me up so much?
