“You know Loki is very troubled.” Jane brought up casually as they sat down for lunch that day.

Darcy eyed her boss, taking in the squinty crazy eyes and knew there would be no diverting Jane from this train wreck of a talk. “Yes, it’s kind of hard to miss.”

Jane blinked as if she hadn’t expected Darcy to agree with the blindingly obvious. “Right. So he’s not really what you might call relationship material right now.” She cut into her chicken filet viciously. “Or ever.”

Darcy tuned out Jane’s monologue about seemingly perfect guys and their hidden crippling commitment issues, who led you on and then buggered off to another dimension after you’d finally worked up the guts to kiss them, because she’d heard it all before. Daily, one might even say. Maybe she could beg some prozac of Loki and slip some in Jane’s milk.

Jane had a point though. Loki wasn’t relationship material. Darcy had dated the tragic emo type in her first year and wasn’t going down that road again. Maybe he could be one night stand material though. A God. That ( ... )

Okay, so, that last line? That last line pretty much killed me dead. I can't wait to see Darcy's reaction. Or all of the others' who are probably gonna be like 'Only Darcy would sleep with a guy she can impregnate.'
