[I can't quite see the thing with Loki cutting off Sif's hair happening in movieverse, because movie!Sif probably wouldn't care. So in this Loki went off to cheat some dwarves just for the hell of it. As you do, when you're a trickster

Then he beckoned Thor inside and closed the door behind them. Thor tried to reach for him and pull him into a hug, but Loki evaded him with a look that promised murder should Thor try again. Then he vanished into some darker part of his study. Before long he returned with a heavy looking bundle swaddled in rough cloth. There was a muffled clang of metal as he set it down in front of Thor

In the myths, it IS canon that Loki brought the gods not only Thor's hammer, but also Odin's spear, Odin's ring, Odin's horse, Frey's boat and probably some other stuff I've forgotten. He also brought them his other kids (the Serpent, the Fenris Wolf and Hel), but they weren't too happy with them. Loki really is the surpreme provider of STUFF.
The provider of stuff X°D I hate the fact that when there is a problem they call Loki but still they treat him cruelly. (Ok. the problem is mostly Loki's fault but still)
Haha I know right? xD It's part of why he's awesome, the Gods would never be as fantastic if Loki hadn't been there to be their foil/provider. But I love this story's take on the events, in Marvel's Loki miniseries he never wanted to give the hammer to Thor but it was forcibly taken away by Odin. This version is so much sweeter. xD I'm a complete sucker for brotherly love.
I'd love to read a movieverse story where Odin/a dwarf/someone decides to sews shut Loki's mouth (warning: blood PIC) while Thor is not at Asgard.
Thor finds out about it when he returns (maybe he was with the Avengers? on the Earth?).
Hurt/comfort bonus, please?
