I want to say "Thank You" to the comms that tonight managed to make me question what the hell I'm doing here. Maybe by tomorrow I'll feel better, but right now I feel like this might cure my addiction to this place

I'm just being a little sensitive and it's not even PMS. My usual happy-go-lucky self just feels a little stomped on tonight.

The only places I flail are the main comm, Hoopla, a couple of other offshoots and Twitter. How would I know what Glamberts call Adam?

This is my thing - He's dark (in a yummy, little boy smile kind of way) and he (obviously) looks like a BAGQMF GOD. I call 'em like I see 'em.

And I love how someone actually wonders if I can appreciate his human side? OMG. I posted a fake prayer (with a side of "I worship at the altar of Adam Lambert" thrown in - I admit) as a comment to this obviously dark, crazy, BDSM, fuck you world, music video. And now I get psychoanalysis? Wow.

I know I'm over-reacting. I'm just going to bed now. Maybe tomorrow I'll be back to my bitchy self.

Not a member of hoopla so can't comment but I know you have love for him same as me. And you're not a Glambert lol. Are you new to the comm? They are a bit antiglamberts for a few reasons - some of them are a bit stalkerish of Adam and say he should be straight.

IDK what's been going on lately, but it seems that there's a lot of freakiness going on in the comms. Honestly, why is there a right way and a wrong way to be an Adam fan? And has everyone lost their sense of humor? It's really sad that some posters are feeling attacked and judged- aren't these supposed to be communities, not cliques? I really rely on my online friends to get what I mean when I flail and squee about Adam, since no one in my RL gets it at all. (And would look at me perplexed if I even used the words flail and squee, lol)
Just know that there are plenty of us who are simply huge fans of Adam in all his fabulousness, and want to share the happy he brings.

MTE. Aren't we all just fans in the end? I know there are some crazy fans, but I don't think I fall into the "crazy" pile. Adam has the most amazing voice I've ever heard. He's absolutely beautiful (outside where I can see and appears to be on the inside, too). AND he appeals to my sense of "Fuck you world" because he fights for what he wants.

I hate thinking I have to be careful of what I say in a mostly anonymous forum. Ugh.
